Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Serenity Cosmetic Clinic, we are committed to providing high-quality cosmetic treatments and excellent client care. Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before booking.
1. APPOINTMENT CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
1.1 Notice Period
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
1.2 Late Cancellations
Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled appointment time will result in:
Loss of deposit $50 or
A cancellation fee $50
Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in:
50% of the treatment fee being charged, or
Forfeiture of any prepaid amount
2. DEPOSITS & PREPAYMENTS
Deposits are non-refundable and are required to secure appointments.
Deposits may be transferred once to another appointment if rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Deposits expire after 12 months if not used.
3. REFUNDS FOR SERVICES
3.1 Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for:
Change of mind
Dissatisfaction with results where the service was delivered appropriately
Failure to follow post-treatment care instructions
3.2 Cosmetic Treatments
Due to the nature of cosmetic treatments:
Results may vary between individuals
No guarantees can be made regarding outcomes
Refunds are not provided for subjective dissatisfaction
4. PACKAGES & PREPAID TREATMENTS
All treatment packages are non-refundable.
Packages are transferable to another person.
Unused treatments within a package expire after 12 months from the date of purchase.
If a client is medically unsuitable to continue treatments, clinic credit may be offered at management’s discretion.
5. PRODUCTS
Opened or used products are non-refundable.
Unopened products may be exchanged within 7 days with proof of purchase.
Refunds or replacements will be provided if a product is faulty, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
6. MEDICAL & SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS
Clients must disclose all relevant medical conditions, medications, and contraindications prior to treatment.
The clinic reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if it is deemed unsafe.
In such cases, refunds or credits will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
7. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a refund or remedy if services are not provided with due care and skill, or if a product is faulty.
8. CLINIC DISCRETION
Serenity Cosmetic Clinic reserves the right to:
Refuse refunds where policy terms have not been met
Amend this policy at any time
Make final decisions on refunds, credits, or cancellations
